Wired Water Meter Connection Details

The wired water meter is transmitted by the most advanced RS485-MODBUS bus at present. RS485 is the water meter port. The protocols include MODBUS (default 9600 baud rate) and CJ/T-188 protocol (default 2400 baud rate). There are 4 wires, black, blue, yellow and red. And it is necessary to strictly distinguish the positive and negative wiring. The requirements for on-site construction are relatively high, and the requirements for transformation are also relatively high. The main feature of the RS485 transmission method is four wires (two power wires, two signal wires), and the polarity of the wires needs to be distinguished; the main feature of the M-BUS transmission method is two wires, which are both used for power supply and loaded with signals. And the two wires have no polarity. Therefore, the communication lines of the same polarity should be connected together.

The communication bus should be connected to M-Bus, any way of M-Bus1, M-Bus2 or M-Bus3. Then make water meter connection.
